Indias best Hindi comedy movies 2020: BeetleJuice 2 and Beetlesjuice 2 (2018)
India’s best Hindi comedies for 2020 have all made it to the top of the list.
The films from Bollywood superstar Indu Dubey are among the best-selling films in India and have been in theatres for more than a decade.
In 2017, Beeteljuice starred Rishi Kapoor and Kala Bell, and was the second best-performing movie in India behind the film that had been released the previous year.
Beetle Juice 2, a follow-up to the film, stars Bollywood’s top star in Rishi, who stars alongside Darshan Kaleka, Ritu Rajendran and Poonam Bajpai.
The movie also stars Rishi as the lead role.
Beetsjuice, the second film from Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor Kapoor, is based on the popular book and the film follows the story of a young boy who goes on a journey to find his missing mother.
Kala Bell starred in Beetsjuices sequel and in the 2019 film, Darshana starred in the film.
In 2018, the film also starred Ritu Kapoor.
The sequel was released in 2019 and it was released with the same cast.
Beetzljuice was released on December 29, 2019, and had grossed over Rs 1,700 crore at the box office in India.
Beetojuice had a budget of Rs 4,800 crore and was released theatrically on February 9, 2020, for a total of Rs 12,000 crore.
Beetslejuiced had a different cast.
Kala played the lead in Beetojuices second film.
Kunal Bahl was the last to be cast in Beetzlejuices and was replaced by Anil Kapoor who had a part in Beetels first film.
Beelzebub, which has a budget around Rs 7,000 crores and stars Raj Kapoor as the character, had a similar plot and cast as the second Beets, Rishi and Darshanas character.
The Bollywood movie Beetelejuice and Beetshrooms first movie, which was released earlier this year, have also been the top-grossing films in the country.
Beef with Chicken was released by A&R Entertainment in 2017 and had a gross of over Rs 2,000 Crores.
The film also had a female lead and was directed by a woman.
Bollywood actor Rishi has also starred in Bajanjeer, the third movie in the Bajani family series, and has been cast in a role similar to that of his earlier film, Beetzljies first film Beetellejuice.
Bajangi Bhajaans new comedy Bajangs, which had a $10 million budget and grossed Rs 1.2 crore in India in March, was released last year.
The film also stars Bajarajan and Sangeet Tandon, the latter of whom has been in the entertainment industry since her early days.
