Comedian Chris Hardwick talks about his new movie, ‘Comedian’, starring Chadwick Boseman and Eliza Dushku
Comedian, writer, actor and actor Chris Hardick, who has been making films for nearly 40 years, has written and directed the new comedy movie, “Comedians”, which will be released this month on the Netflix streaming service.
The film, directed by Chris Hardrick, follows a group of young Mexican Americans as they explore the complexities of being a comic.
“I don’t have any problems with Mexican-American stereotypes.
But, I don’t think I can make fun of Mexicans, but I do think I could make fun a lot of Mexican-Americans,” Hardwick told The Associated Press in an interview.
“It’s not that we don’t love Mexicans.
We can’t just have the one thing we all want to see. “
Comedy Central’s the one network that has that, and Netflix has that.
We can’t just have the one thing we all want to see.
It’s like, ‘No, we can’t.'”
The film opens in theaters March 30.
A special premiere will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center on Saturday, March 25, from 7:00-10:00 p.m.
Tickets are $14.99 each, and are available online at www.ticketmaster.com.
The “Comentarios” stars Eliza DiDuro, Chadwick Bigelow, Daniella Paredes, Danil Kavcic, Elisa Soto, Javier Rodriguez, Carlos Rios, and Emilio Sanchez.
