Which actor would you rather see die in a car crash?
If the death of a celebrity comedian isn’t enough to inspire laughter, there’s also the prospect of the actor going under the knife for a serious medical procedure, as he did in April 2018 when he had a brain tumour removed.
It’s not the first time a celebrity has had to undergo such a procedure.
In 2017, Justin Bieber had to have his jaw removed due to a brain tumor.
In October 2017, Robert Downey Jr., the star of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, had a procedure to remove his tumour in an attempt to prevent his death.
The comedian has also made a number of controversial statements in the past, and has often spoken out against racism.
As well as his own personal issues, comedian Tyler Craig, who played the character “Tyler” in the series The Comedians, also recently revealed he had undergone a brain operation.
He told the Today show: I’m not gonna say I’m okay, but I am okay with the fact that I’m gonna get my brain done.
I am very comfortable with it.
But, like, I have to go through it.
The surgery, I would have done in a couple of weeks if I was in a stable enough place to have a surgery done.
He also commented on the incident in which he was stabbed.
Craig said he suffered a “minor stab wound” while he was performing the show in May 2017.
He was rushed to hospital, but was released after a couple hours.
Tyler was also criticised for tweeting about the incident.
The tweets caused a stir after he tweeted: I don’t think it is okay to shoot your way to a comedy show.
The actor has since spoken out about his decision to undergo the procedure.
“When I was a kid, I loved singing and I was obsessed with my parents singing.
And, of course, my dad was an incredible songwriter, so I was very much in tune with what he was saying, and I would always have these dreams,” he told People magazine.
“I went on and on about that, and when I was older, I realized that was just a part of my life, I wasn’t supposed to have these thoughts.”
“I’m really proud of that.
It really is an amazing story.
I’m also a bit surprised to see how it’s come to this.
But it’s a life-changing experience for me.
I don, however, feel like it’s not OK to do it.”
The comedian’s experience was not unique.
In May 2017, comedian and writer/director David Cross also suffered a brain surgery when he was 30 years old.
He tweeted: I’m gonna be 29 years old this month and I’ll be going through some major medical procedures to try and stop my brain from growing.
This comes after he wrote an article for People Magazine in which the comedian discussed the trauma of a violent assault.
During his speech, Cross said he was “a little bit shocked” when he first saw the results of the operation on Craig.
After the operation, he was unable to perform in front of audiences.
Following his surgery, Craig had to cancel his show in March 2018 and has since said he had to be hospitalized after suffering a “bit of an attack”.
“We’re very grateful that we have a great team of doctors who have done the surgery on me and have helped me through the process,” he said.
Craig has also shared a number other controversial comments in the wake of the incident, including comments about President Donald Trump.
Although he was not personally attacked, he also told People: I just have to say, if I could be president of the United States, I’d be the first one in history to have an operation to remove the brain.
And he added: I wouldn’t mind being the first president to have surgery to remove my brain.
I’ve never thought that I’d actually have the surgery, but it’s something that I’ve been thinking about.
